We offer a wide range of glasses from budget friendly to designer frames. We have extended our lines to include brands such as Ray-Ban, Kate Spade, Draper James, BeBe, Nike and more. Our top priority is providing high quality medical eye care, prevention of blindness and ensuring you achieve optimal vision with glasses or contact lenses.

An annual comprehensive eye examination typically includes a “refraction” which allows us to give you a glasses prescription. This part of the exam is usually covered by most vision insurance plans but is NOT typically covered by most medical insurance exams. If your insurance does not cover it, this optional service is $37. We do accept VSP insurance for glasses and contacts.

Hometown Ophthalmology also offers a wide selection of contact lenses. These include daily or monthly disposables in spherical, toric and multifocal soft contact lenses. We also offer rigid gas permeable lens options. Establishing a good contact lens fit begins with a comprehensive eye exam. Additional measurements as well as lifestyle discussion will help determine the best type of trial lens to dispense. After the initial fitting, a follow up will be scheduled to make any necessary changes to material, fit or prescription to ensure the best possible result. We teach all of our patients proper contact lens care and take the time to properly instruct new contact lens wearers on proper insertion, removal and care of their lenses. In addition, we offer competitive pricing for long term contact lens supplies.
