As an optional part of your eye exam, we can provide you a “refraction” which allows us to give you a glasses prescription. This part of the exam is covered by most Vision Insurance plans but NOT covered by most medical insurance exams. If not covered by your insurance, this optional service is $34.00.
In order to keep our prices low, our optical shop works a bit differently. We keep low-cost frames and limited lens options to keep the buying process simple. All costs are easily displayed without any hidden fees or surprises. We have also extended our lines to include brands such as Kate Spade and Nike, and will be happy to place new lenses in your existing frames purchased elsewhere.
For patients that want a higher level of eyewear services, we totally understand! We will happily give you your glasses prescription to-go, at no additional cost. The prescription is good anywhere and active for a year.
For patients that want to use their prescription to buy glasses online, we make that easy as well! You will need one additional measurement, the “pupillary distance”, which we can measure for you at no additional cost.
Our priority is high quality medical eye care and the prevention of blindness. We also understand how expensive glasses can be and try help patients take advantage of all available options.
